Jesse Dunsmoor is a Portfolio Manager and VP of Investments at MPPL Financial, where he serves as a lead member of the Investment Committee. With over 16 years of professional experience, Jesse manages equity, fixed income, and alternative allocations while directing the firm’s economic research, proprietary modeling, and investment communications. He also oversees critical trading and reporting functions.
Jesse holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Minnesota–Duluth, graduated with distinction, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is a member of CFA Society Minnesota and Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honor society in economics. He also has been actively involved with Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, where he helped lead the establishment of the congregation’s endowment fund and serves on the committee administering the endowment. Prior to joining MPPL, Jesse held diverse roles in finance, real estate, and operations at Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.
Outside of the office, Jesse lives in the Duluth area and enjoys boating, hiking, biking, and skiing with his wife and three children. He is also a soccer coach with the Hermantown Youth Soccer Association.
