Brian Resch is a Managing Partner and Financial Advisor with MPPL Financial, working out of both the Duluth, MN and Grand Rapids, MN offices. Known for his deep expertise and broad industry knowledge, Brian works closely with the firm’s executive team on strategic initiatives while providing leadership and mentorship to MPPL’s financial advisors.
In addition to his leadership role, Brian has a strong passion for helping clients. As a financial advisor, he primarily works with individuals and families facing complex financial situations — including business owners preparing for the sale of their company and corporate executives navigating multifaceted compensation packages that require specialized guidance to optimize outcomes.
Outside the office, Brian is a devoted husband and father of four. He and his family are deeply involved in their community, where Brian serves in a music leadership role at his church and occasionally teaches Bible studies for both adults and children. He is also active in Trail Life, a faith-based scouting organization that focuses on developing the skills and character of boys ages 5–17.
An Army veteran, Brian values service and continues to support veterans and active-duty military members personally and through several community organizations.
